Long time pals Surf photographer, John Respondek & Dion Agius have been travelling around and shooting for years!

Introducing part one in his series of independent photography essays.

This 120-page compilation of high-impact moments features the unique

style and energetic flair of surfer, Dion Agius, bound together in a pastel

pink colour theme.

Handpicked from Respondek’s personal archives in surf photography, the

book showcases a rare insight into the world of Dion and his adventures to unique locations in Israel, Panama, Indonesia and Australia.

Respondek’s photography is complemented with glimpses into the psyche of this eccentric surfer, peppered with commentary and musings from

Dion himself.

Dion says “This book is such a ‘moment piece’ for me. It covers the last five years of

my life and it just so happens I was travelling with one of my best friends, who is also

a rad photographer. We’ve had some good times along the way”.

Respondek says “Although we’ve experienced a bunch of published success in

editorial exposure and advertising campaigns, there’s still so much imagery that

deserves a chance to shine. It’s great to have the opportunity to catalogue these into

a complete and tangible art piece for people to enjoy.”

Understanding Frame Measurements

All EPØKHE frame measurement markings can be found on the inside of the left temple (side arm), you'll see a 7 digit number that looks like this:

51 [] 21 145

Lens Width [] Bridge Width Temple Length

This information describes the size of your glasses. The first two digits are the lens width. The second two digits are the bridge width and the third three digits are the temple or side length. All measurements are given in millimeters.
